Simultaneous Interpreting
The interpreter simultaneously orally translates (interprets) the speaker's words. For that, he or she needs a simultaneous interpreting station (soundproof cabin, specialized sound equipment, receivers, microphones) and the aid of the room's sound technician. The interpreting session reaches the audience in real-time through headphones. This type of interpreting delivers the best quality results due to the immediacy and fluidity of the communication. SeproTec Multilingual Solutions is specialized in managing the team of interpreters (using the best professionals available) and providing technical equipment and specialized technical staff.

Simultaneous Interpreting with Infoport:
Infoport is a portable and wireless simultaneous interpreting station. It is made up of a simple technical kit (briefcase, microphone and headphones) that enables users to go to meetings and move around the meeting venue with no loss of sound quality. It is commonly used for guided tours, plant or factory visits and meetings with up to 20 participants.

Whispered Interpreting or 'Chuchotage'
The interpreter stands behind the person or persons (maximum of 3 participants) who do not speak the working language and orally simultaneously translates (whispering) the speaker's message. He or she then interprets the client's responses back to the other participants. This is commonly used in short work meetings, where one or two participants do not speak the common language used in the meeting.

Consecutive Interpreting
This type of interpreting does not require technical equipment. The interpreter translates the speaker's message orally once he or she has finished speaking. The speaker must pause in his or her presentation to allow the interpreter to translate. Interpreters usually take notes to ensure the message is rendered correctly. It should be taken into account that the event will be around 80–90% longer due to the pauses for the message to be translated.

Liaison Interpreting
This type of interpreting is commonly used to overcome language barriers between two people at meetings in the public and private sector. The interpreter orally translates between two speakers in the two working languages without the need for equipment.

Equipment Renting and Sale
Quality is essential in order to ensure a successful interpreting session, which is why it is crucial to use specialized and reliable technical equipment, and expert technicians for set-up and operation during the event. SeproTec has simultaneous translation booths that meet UNE 1093:1984 and UNE 1094:1984 standards, public address systems, infrared equipment for simultaneous interpreting, infoport briefcases and all the material needed to make the event run smoothly.
