A leading European manufacturer of sun shading products partnered with us to implement a new PIM system.
The project focused on efficiently migrating and managing multilingual content, ensuring smooth data integration, and creating an effective translation workflow.
Through expert consulting and technical support, the company successfully enhanced its multilingual content delivery.
-
Objective
To introduce a new Product Information Management (PIM) system to optimize data management and data quality while supporting the efficient creation, management and translation of multilingual content.
The company needed to integrate existing multilingual content from legacy systems and enable the rapid publication of new content in multiple languages. -
Challenge
Migrating large volumes of multilingual content required careful evaluation of existing translation memory assets, content structures and system interfaces.
The client also needed to preserve valuable linguistic data, avoid data loss during migration and identify opportunities for automation to support future multilingual content workflows. -
Implementation
As a long-term language services partner, Seprotec advised WAREMA on process adaptations related to the implementation of the Contentserv PIM system.
The project included the creation and optimization of configuration files for translation data preparation, testing of workflows, consultation on preserving translation memory content during migration, and support for process automation and technical integration between the client’s systems and language services workflow. -
Result
The project successfully enabled the transfer of multilingual content into WAREMA’s new Contentserv PIM system and established an efficient translation workflow for future content creation.
The solution improved the management of multilingual data, supported faster content localisation and laid the foundation for more streamlined and scalable translation processes.
