Objective
Support the successful delivery of an 83-day training program in the energy sector by providing professional consecutive interpreting between English- and Italian-speaking participants.
The objective was to remove language barriers and enhance learning effectiveness through clear and accurate interpretation. -
Challenge
The project required coordination between multiple stakeholders and interpreters, making a structured communication flow essential to align expectations and prevent misunderstandings.
Interpreters also needed to maintain the natural flow of discussions while ensuring accuracy and participant engagement.
Changes to the on-site trainers’ schedules required additional flexibility and the reassignment of interpreting resources to cover newly added course dates. -
Implementation
Seprotec developed a tailored interpreting approach with a dedicated team of six professional consecutive interpreters, including a main coordinator responsible for communication and logistics.
A project manager acted as the central interface between all parties to facilitate efficient information exchange.
Flexible scheduling and resource management allowed interpreters to be reassigned whenever trainers’ schedules changed, ensuring continuous coverage throughout the program. -
Result
Participants fully understood the training content, improving engagement and knowledge retention.
Coordinated interpreting ensured a smooth flow of information throughout the program, while flexible resource management accommodated schedule changes without disrupting delivery.
The training was completed on schedule, meeting all learning objectives despite the language barriers involved.
