For more than 1,200 participants, UNIDO arranged a virtual conference on women's economic empowerment; interpreting in Arabic, French, and English was required.
The event went well, despite a few minor technical difficulties, and participants complimented the platform's ease of use.
The importance of pre-event testing and efficient communication were among the main lessons learned.

Objective
To deliver a remote interpreting solution for a large-scale virtual event that would expand global participation, enhance inclusivity and integrate seamlessly with the client’s existing event platforms.
The solution needed to provide interpreting in English, Arabic and French while allowing real-time monitoring and causing minimal disruption to participants. -
Challenge
The event was hosted through Whova and Zoom, neither of which provided the required multilingual interpreting functionality.
With more than 1,200 participants and multiple conference sessions, UNIDO required a scalable interpreting solution capable of supporting three languages, providing technical oversight and delivering detailed participation analytics. -
Implementation
Seprotec implemented a tailored remote interpreting solution using the Interactio platform.
The project included customized branding, multilingual user guides in English, French and Arabic, interpreter preparation, technical testing, virtual booth support and real-time event monitoring.
Each conference session was configured individually to provide detailed analytics, while dedicated project management and technical support ensured smooth coordination throughout the event. -
Result
The event was successfully delivered with seven interpreters operating from three language booths.
Technical testing and live support ensured a smooth experience, with only minor issues that were resolved quickly.
UNIDO received access to detailed user and attendance analytics, and participant feedback was positive, with the interpreting app achieving an average rating of 3.7 out of 5. Interpreters also praised the platform’s usability, technical support and overall reliability.
